Acceptable Use Policy
In order for a student to have access to the internet computers in the library, a current signed Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) must be on file.

Library Card
Students must show their current ID card in order to check out library materials and textbooks.

Textbooks
Textbooks are issued to students for all classes requiring them. Students are responsible for all library materials checked out to them. Fees will be assessed and billed to the student for all lost and damages textbooks and library books.

Computer Lab
The Computer Lab is available for students for research, completing class assignments, and homework with a current ID card. Printing (black & white) is available from the computer lab. Printing is free.

Circulation
Students may check out 2 library books for 4 weeks. In order to retain their borrowing privileges, students are encouraged to return items on time and in good condition.

Library Card – the student’s ID card serves as the library card and is barcoded for the library automated checkout system. Students must show their current ID card in order to check out library materials and textbooks.

Xeroxing in black & white is available in the library for .20 cents per copy.

Computer Lab is available for students for research, completing class assignments, and homework with a current ID card.  Students must have an AUP (Acceptable Use Policy) on file in order to use the internet. Printing is available from the computer lab. Printing (school related materials) from the NHS Library Student Computer Lab is free.

The library is equipped with an integrated network of 30 computer stations, The Sacramento Bee newspaper online, and over 12,200 library books.

The Destiny catalog for the library may be viewed on all 30 computers in the library by accessing the Destiny icon. You can also view the Destiny Catalog from your home computer.
